How many Ad-sense ads are legal to be added in a single page?

Most of us are unsure of exactly how many ad units are allowed by Google to accumulate on one page. We know there’s different requirements for different ad types, but what is the maximum number of ads if we used ALL of the allowed number of ad units on a page?

I make this post to answer this exact question, directly to the point and not to confuse you any further.

Let’s say you want to fill up your page with the exact number of Adsense ads that Google allows, making your single page very optimized, but safe at the same time. (I have always been a firm believer with the saying “less is more“, most especially when the subject is related to Google Adsense usage, however, that is not always the case. If you have really good ad placements, then more, by all means, will always perform better than less.)

So, without much ado, let me reveal to you the “dummy” explanation of the exact number of Adsense ads that we are allowed to use on a single page:

a.) A maximum of three AdSense for content units (text, image or rich media) on one webpage.

b.) A maximum of three AdSense link units (horizontal or vertical)

c.) A maximum of two Google Search Boxes on one web page (it can be Google custom search as well but make sure the Google logo is visible).

Let’s add it all up: 3 (text/image ads) + 3 (link units) + 2 (Google search boxes)
= 8 ad types on a single page allowed (3 ads, 3 link units, & 2 search boxes)

So, do you get it now? You’re allowed a total of 8 adsense ad types on a single page (3 text/image ads, 3 link units, and 2 search boxes).

You can view Adsense Ad formats if you want..!.
